Wellington Point in the Redlands is one of my favorite places to have a picnic or take the kids to the park. This place offers 2 beautiful playgrounds, a fish & chips shop, a restaurant & cafe, BBQ areas and much more!
During low tide you can walk across the sand to a little Island and watch your children be completely amazed with all the shells and crabs!
You can take your dog down there for a walk during the week and let your dog go for a swim provided that they stay on a leash. However, please be aware that during weekends and public holidays they are not prohibited! Your dog will love you for it! I know mine did!
This place is quite beautiful! This spot is also great for photos and photographers alike. So don't forget to bring your camera as well!
You can go fishing off the jetty or bring your beloved boat down and go for a spin.
